God is for Every Age: God is both God of the young and old. The King isn't just for the experts in the high tower; He is the God of both the playground and the retirement home and everything inbetween. Why leave kids in the dark if they too can also have the light? The quicker you find the light, the better chance you have to live a better life unto God. Teaching a child in the way that they should go as early as we can start so that hopefully they never depart and follow the way that seems right but leads to death. For God says if the watchmen doesn't warn the people their blood is on his hands, he didn't mean for only adults.
The Great Unveiling: The Bible is the book of all life's greatest mysteries unveiled and revealed for our benefit. It teaches kids you can actually learn and know for sure all types of things you never thought you could or thought you just had to guess about and that God rewards those who believe he is God and who try hard to seek him.
No Missing Pieces: It teaches the importance of paying attention to all the details and not missing any of the clues; scripture cannot be broken. You can't make pieces fit where they don't or create your own, or the picture on the box gets broken. The cases and the examples of the cases teach the consequences of not following this rule, a rule that never goes away or gets out dated or out grown. No matter how young and old you are you can get God right, no matter how old or young you are you can get God wrong.
A Bridge for Everyone: It even helps adults who don't have much experience or knowledge or who find the "grown-up" version of cases too much to handle or too unnecessarily complex and big-worded to understand. A lot of lost adults are just lost kids who never got real answers with actual substance, but were just told to "believe" when not even adult's faith is supposed to be that way. A doctrine must be perfect by its own inherent claim, even if not exhaustive. Additionally the aim is also to help adults feel confident teaching their kids and others by ensuring they can know they understand it to teach it in the first place. Let the one who desires to know God come. No shame here, only in stubbornness. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
Study with a Spark: It teaches and shows Bible study doesn't have to be boring, but you have to take it serious even if you have fun. Teaching to kids also usually helps everyone loosen up and have some fun where they might otherwise wouldn't.
Investigation is Invited: To teach kids there's nothing inherently wrong about questions and if you can question God you can also question any one and everything. Also that God doesn't fear questions; He invites them and they prove Him. You don't have to guess when the evidence is right there. It helps them to share and partake in the experience and help in and make the experience. There is nothing inherently holy about a "mystery", when it comes to cases he lays out for us that he wants us to solve it's the glory of God to hide something and the glory and the honor of us to find it out. We should never call a clear wrong answer a "mystery", or be too lazy to find the right answer that exists.
To Know Him is to Love Him: God says to love Him with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and these cases teach kids how and why. You don't have to love and serve or obey a God you can't really know. We don't want to just instill in kids passion about God. We want to couple it with knowledge. So, that they might know what they love, know that they are loving it correctly, and so that their love won't be in vain. Because without knowledge all of that love becomes even more dangerous to themselves and others than if they had no love at all. Meaning well isn't the same as doing well, we make sure they know and understand God's love language. We solve the Case so we can finally know the Person and by trying our best to solve what can be solved we show we care enough to know about God and what he meant by these cases who says these mysteries help us know him more. Additionally these cases show that we not only can get God but also that God perfectly gets us.
The Team Effort: Lastly these cases are designed as a partnership, showing that the discovery of Truth is a team effort. This sets the tone for not forsaking the assembling of ourselves. I am not you, and you are not me, but we need and help each other and compliment each other's strengths and cover each other's weaknesses. It creates the feel of "C'mon partner I need you and I want you, you got my back I got yours." There are no solo residents in the kingdom.
